MY AMAZING WEEK AT LC!

Okay so, I am HELLLA tired right now (kudos to me for actually being tired before 3 AM) but it doesn't matter because I have important thoughts on my week that need to be recorded. Okay so every year there is LC (Leadership Camp) at the beginning of summer and I couldn't a better way of kicking off my summer. It's kinda hard to explain to people who have never been, I mean you'll never FULLY understand until you go. no matter how well I try to explain it it's still going to sound rather peculiar to you. but anyways, all the kids going into student council the upcoming school year go to this camp for a week and it's lead by the high school staff (which I was a part of) all week long we cheer and compete, decorate, dress up in crazy costumes, and go all out with everything we do. if we were just walking down the street doing the things we do and dressing the way we dressed we would have gotten some crazy looks. it's somewhere where everyone is totally SILLY and fun and you can completely be 100% YOU. one of my favorite parts about camp is watching campers on day one being so silet and shy and then by day 2 thier voices are gone :) that's what I'm talking about. not to mention all the wonderful HS staff I had the pleasure of working/hanging out with this week. I can hardly WAIT until next year. It's going to be even more amazing than this year. I am really going to miss my LC, it's a deep part of me and I know that it's really helped so many people break out of thier shelll and truly learn how to become leaders. and the fact that I'm apart of something so rare to find is such a privalage. The spirit of LC will never die and niether will our dance parties, laughs, pictures, games of "honey i love you", CHEER WARS, eating mecca, and everything else LC has offered us. I feel great going into my summer now because of the way I started it off. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COUNCIL SEVEN! :)
