Conquering Fear.

before you read anything further please take a moment to watch this. (oh, and pause the music player at the bottom of this blog)

amazing right?

well anyways. I wasn't even going to blog but I felt like I needed to record this. Today I conquered my fear of riding Drop Zone at Great America. I thought that never in a million years would I ever ride that...and then I just hella randomly decided to just get on. I thought I was going to die. But I didn't. I actually loved it! So basically if you're from some faraway place Drop Zone is this ride where you just drop straight down from like 200 feet or something. It's pretty scary but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be and it was sooo fun. I'm glad I did it cause I was this close to getting off but I didn't :) and if I had done that then I would be missing out on a couple of things:

1. The feeling of accomplishment.

2. Knowing that my fear no longer conquers me, but I conquered my fear.

3. Realization that no one can really tell you what a ride/roller coaster feels except for yourself. You decide if you like it.

and now I can say I rode everything at Great america. YAY. Okay, that may have not been a big deal to you...you could very well have ridden that ride AGES ago and it was nothing. But it meant a lot to me. The end.
